WILDOUT Racing Warranty Terms for Forged Motorcycle Wheels
These Terms apply to the forged motorcycle wheels (hereinafter referred to as the “Wheels”) officially sold under the WILDOUT Racing brand. They are formulated to clarify the scope, duration and procedures of after-sales warranty for the Wheels and protect the legitimate rights and interests of consumers. WILDOUT Racing reserves the final right of interpretation of these Terms.
Chapter 1 General Provisions
1. These Warranty Terms shall be applicable solely to the original purchaser of the Wheels and shall not be assignable or transferable by gift or otherwise. To file a warranty claim, the claimant must provide valid purchase documents (order records, payment receipts, delivery notes) and the exclusive MT serial number stamped on the wheel rim. Claims without valid supporting documents will not be accepted.
2. The warranty period of the Wheels shall commence on the date of actual delivery to the customer.
3. The warranty service referred to in these Terms shall mean free repair or replacement, excluding any indirect losses such as labor downtime and transportation costs arising from the warranty claim.
Chapter 2 Warranty Period
Considering the manufacturing process and service characteristics of forged motorcycle wheels, the warranty is divided into two categories, excluding natural wear and tear and artificial damage:
1. Structural/Manufacturing Warranty: 5 years. This covers core components of the Wheels related to forging material, forming process and hole machining, constituting the core warranty coverage.
2. Surface Finish Warranty: 1 year. This covers the factory-applied surface treatments of the Wheels including anodization, painting, electroplating and wire drawing, excluding minor wear from normal use.
Chapter 3 Warranty Coverage
Within the warranty period, if WILDOUT Racing’s professional inspection confirms that the damage to the Wheels is caused by factory manufacturing defects rather than human factors or improper use, free repair or replacement services will be provided, which are specifically divided into two categories:
(I) Free Replacement with New Wheels
In case the Wheels suffer from the following irreparable core quality defects with no traces of artificial use, the Wheels will be replaced free of charge with new forged wheels of the same specification and manufacturing process:
1. Non-external force cracking or fracture of the Wheels caused by forging process defects (excluding minor chipping on the edges);
2. Machining errors in factory-made holes (center bore, bolt holes) that render the Wheels unable to be properly installed on the corresponding motorcycle models;
3. Non-external force deformation of the Wheels during normal use caused by factory material defects (confirmed by inspection).
(II) Free Professional Repair
In case the Wheels have the following repairable manufacturing defects with no artificial damage, free factory-standard repair will be provided, which will guarantee the consistency of the Wheels’ performance and appearance after repair:
1. Peeling paint, delamination, electroplating flaking or non-contact corrosion on the Wheels during normal use caused by factory surface finish defects with no scratch marks;
2. Minor air leakage of the Wheels caused by forging process defects (excluding tire sealing issues and damage from artificial impact).
Chapter 4 Non-Warranty Coverage
Under the following circumstances, the Wheels shall not be covered by free warranty services regardless of the warranty period. WILDOUT Racing may provide paid repair/replacement solutions, with all associated costs borne by the customer:
1. Damage caused by human use/operation: Cracking, deformation, scratching or chipping of the Wheels due to external impacts such as hitting curb stones, obstacles or falling over; damage to the Wheels caused by installation with incorrect torque or forcible installation with misaligned holes; damage to the Wheels caused by forcible installation of non-factory compatible tires.
2. Damage caused by improper use: Overloading the vehicle or aggressive driving on unpaved roads.
3. Damage from self-modification/repair: Any modification to the Wheels including trimming, hole reworking, recoloring and welding; damage to the Wheels caused by self-disassembly/repair or entrusting third-party parties for repair.
4. Damage from improper cleaning/maintenance: Surface damage to the Wheels caused by cleaning with corrosive chemicals such as carburetor cleaners and rust removers; surface corrosion caused by contact with de-icing salt or strong acidic/alkaline car wash solutions.
5. Shipping/inspection issues: Shipping damage to the Wheels discovered after delivery due to failure to inspect the Wheels on receipt (the customer must take photos and contact customer service on the spot, and the brand will negotiate with the logistics party for resolution).
6. Natural wear and tear/normal use traces: Minor scratches, oxidation and wear on the Wheel surface from normal riding; normal indentations on the contact area between the tire and the wheel rim.
7. Other circumstances: Warranty claims filed after the transfer of the Wheels; claims without valid purchase documents or with blurred/tampered MT serial numbers; damage to the Wheels caused by force majeure (such as fire, flood, earthquake, etc.).
Chapter 5 Warranty Claim and Processing Procedures
Warranty claims must be filed in accordance with the following official procedures. The brand reserves the right to postpone the processing of claims not submitted in compliance with the procedures. The progress of the entire process can be inquired through the brand’s customer service:
1. Initial Feedback: Upon discovering a problem with the Wheels, contact WILDOUT Racing’s official customer service within 48 hours, provide valid purchase documents, the Wheel’s MT serial number, and clear photos/videos of the defective parts (including the entire Wheel, detailed defects and a close-up of the MT serial number), and explain the time of occurrence and usage of the Wheels.
2. Preliminary Review by Customer Service: The customer service team will conduct a preliminary review of the submitted materials within 1-2 working days, confirm whether the claim meets the warranty application criteria, and notify the customer of the review result.
3. Return of the Wheels: After the preliminary review is approved, the customer shall return the Wheels to the address designated by the customer service. For warranty claims caused by quality issues, the return shipping cost shall be borne by WILDOUT Racing; for claims not caused by quality issues, the return shipping cost shall be borne by the customer.
4. Professional Inspection: Upon receiving the Wheels, the brand will complete a professional inspection within 3-5 working days, issue an inspection report, clarify the cause of the fault and the warranty solution (free repair/replacement/paid repair), and notify the customer.
5. Warranty Fulfillment:
• If free warranty service is confirmed, factory repair or replacement will be arranged immediately. The Wheels will be shipped back to the customer as soon as the work is completed, with the return shipping cost borne by the brand.
• If the damage is confirmed to be outside the warranty coverage, the brand will issue an inspection report and a quotation for paid repair/replacement to the customer, and the service will be performed only after the customer’s confirmation. If no confirmation is received within 30 calendar days of the Wheels being returned to the factory, the Wheels will be sent back to the customer in their original condition (shipping cost borne by the customer).
6. Acceptance and Confirmation: The customer shall inspect the repaired/replaced Wheels on receipt, and the warranty service shall be deemed completed upon confirmation of no issues.
Chapter 6 Supplementary Provisions
1. The warranty period of the Wheels replaced free of charge shall follow the remaining warranty period of the original Wheels; for the Wheels repaired free of charge, the warranty period for the repaired parts shall be 90 days from the completion of repair or the remaining warranty period of the original Wheels, whichever is longer.
2. If the replacement of Wheels of the same specification cannot be provided due to product discontinuation, specification upgrade or other reasons, WILDOUT Racing will replace the Wheels with new forged wheels of the same grade and equivalent compatibility for the customer, without requiring the customer to pay any additional price difference.
3. The professional inspection result of the cause of Wheel failure issued by WILDOUT Racing shall be the final basis for the warranty claim. If the customer has any objection, a joint entrustment of a third-party authoritative inspection institution for re-inspection may be arranged. The re-inspection cost shall be prepaid by the disputing party, and after the re-inspection result is confirmed, the cost shall be borne by the liable party.
